Hi, My name is Amit and I am a software engineer in a s/w company in Mumbai. I generally find myself ill equipped to handle my finances. But I recently met someone from a company called iTrust he told me that they do some planning which will help me a lot with my finances. Initially I was OK but I am hesitant about the fee that they are charging. Has anybody through this exercise before? Please share your experience, if it is worth it or not?

Lemme share my experience of financial planning exercise with iTrust. I work with an insurance company and have spent 11 years in this industry. And I can tell you that this was an eye opening service for me.

The detail that these guys go into is amazing, and the best part is that all the products that they recommended me we very well researched. Honestly telling you my company also does financial planning for free but its just an eyewash. Agents of my insurance company would generally be interested in selling you an insurance product and make a plan that will help them sell a product to you.

I think its definitely worth the money they charge at iTrust. Only thing I would like to warn you about is that it will take some effort from your side as well in terms of providing the correct data to them. But if you want to be sure about rightly planning your finances then I would recommend this service.
