If a cube is 3 times bigger at every side how much bigger is the volume?
Each side of a cube is made 3 times as large.
How many times larger is the volume of the cube than the original?
Please also add how a volume is figured and what it is.

i don’t understand a cube having unequal sides. volume is the space inside an object.
Rectangular Solid
Volume = Length X Width X Height
V = lwh
Prisms
Volume = Base X Height
v=bh
Cylinder
Volume = pr2 x height
V = pr2 h
Pyramid
V = 1/3 bh
b is the area of the base
Cones
Volume = 1/3 pr2 x height
V= 1/3 pr2h
Sphere
Volume = 4/3 pr3
V = 4/3 pr3
volume, length, width, height, pie, and radius are the letters in the equations. the large numbers next to some of those letters are squared and cubed or to the power of 2 or the power of 3. powers are a number multiplied by itself as given by the power. like 2 squared is 2×2 which is 4. or 2 to the third which is 2×2x2 which is 8.

If each side of a cube is 3 times larger than it was originally, then the volume is 27 times larger than it was originally.
Volume is the amount of space a shape or object takes up in the 3D world (in 3 dimensions). The volume of a cube is worked out by multiplying the length, width and breadth.
If one dimension of a cube is multiplied by 3, then the entire volume is multiplied by 3. Do this for all three dimensions and the volume is multiplied by 3, 3 times.
3 times 3 times 3 = 27

volume of a cube is given by
a X a X a
If each side is made thrice i.e 3a, then the volume becomes
3a X 3a X 3a = 27 X a X a X a
i.e. 27 times the original.

Okay if the lenght of side of cube is x, the
volume is x^3.
So, if the side is 3 times bigger, or
3x, then volume is (3x)^3=27x^3.
So, the volume is (27x^3)/(x^3) = 27
times bigger.
